Richmond, VA, October 11, 2002 - Ethyl Corporation (NYSE:EY) announces that the Board of Directors elected Steven M. Edmonds as Vice President – General Counsel.
Mr. Edmonds had been a partner with the Law firm of Cantor, Arkema & Edmonds, P.C. since 1981. He served as the Firm’s Managing General Partner for 18 of those years. His practice has been focused in general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, finance transactions and commercial real estate.
Mr. Edmonds received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction from the University of Virginia in 1974 and his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Richmond in 1977. He and his family reside in Richmond, VA.
